Lawyers J. David Greene and Will Phillips founded Greene & Phillips in 1998 and have grown the firm to be one of the premiere plaintiff law firms along the Gulf Coast. Handling a large volume of personal injury cases ranging from soft-tissue to wrongful death, David and Will have overseen the implementation of a comprehensive system to efficiently process cases and build demand packages for quick settlements with high value.
J. David Greene grew up in Mobile, Alabama. His father was a paper mill worker. David didn't begin his career in law, rather, he started out as a regional sales manager of a manufacturer out of New York then moved back to Mobile and launched his own landscaping company.
After graduating from the University of South Alabama with a degree in communications and marketing, David earned a Juris Doctorate from the Jones School of Law in Montgomery, Alabama. Two years later, he and longtime friend Will Phillips founded Greene & Phillips Attorneys at Law. With similar business and core philosophies, David and Will have spent the years growing the firm into what it is today-a successful multi-million dollar firm.
Will Phillips was born in Birmingham and grew up in Montgomery before attending Birmingham-Southern College (BSC). During his studies, he co-founded the BSC Conservancy, a student environmental group, which allowed him to meet President George H. W. Bush on three occasions. Will also served as Student Government Association president and received the "Thousand Points of Light" award from President Bush. He earned his Juris Doctorate degree at the Jones School of Law at Faulkner University.
In 1998, he and David Greene formed Greene & Phillips Attorneys At Law in Mobile, AL. Will has helped injured Alabama residents receive millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts. He handles cases dealing with auto injury and criminal defense including federal court cases and serious felonies.
